Yes, the question really is what is blik? So, I decided to redo my apartment, I needed a surge of fresh artistic vibes and a reformatting of my furniture layout to feng shui the creative flow of my brain (rearrangement of furniture in the house or apt does feel like cleansing the soul). I was looking at all kinds of art posters and lithographs that I could potentially frame to ignite the creative spark that my living quarters deserved.
So in the midst of my searches I stop by my friend’s café. If you are an LA head please check the hidden gem to support. It’s called King’s Café on the corner of Sepulveda and Sawtelle, in Culver City. There is a mother restaurant that serves Mediterranean food one shop down, best Mediterranean food joint in LA and the coolest owners. King’s café also serves some pretty mean sandwiches, kinda wish I had one now, but back to the story at hand. So, I haven’t been to king’s in a minute I step in and see this pretty dope wall decal behind the coffee machine and so I ask my boy where it’s from, he said www.whatisblik.com.
Basically anyone who wants to revamp the old place or spice up the new place should check this site out. They got deals worked out with Giant Robot, Threadless, Mathew Haggett, Mel Lim, and other artists to turn their work into wall decals. The decals are removable and are straight sick, they’ll even turn Nintendo game icons into wall decals It’s the fathead for the artsy…or artsier. Don’t get me wrong, the classic art lith with a frame is still sick, but here’s another alternative. Check it and also check King’s.
Finally, in conclusion I just wanted to share what I picked up for the wall behind my couch. Check it and Blik up your own spot.

All of our hard work had been culminating into the perfect release, which occurred on the night of August 21st, 2008. If you were there I think you were satisfied. It is official, the business has gotten a life of its own. DJ Lil Ben, www.myspace.com/djlilben, was spinning a tornado of musical bliss on the tables, while the guests were mingling and peeping the line. I hope you guys liked it. All the clothes we had on display were then raffled throughout the night. Each raffle ticket was $2.00 and all proceeds were donated to fighting Leukemia and Lymphoma, we raised $170. Thank you to everyone who participated.

The location was exceptional and I just have to thank Brian for letting us use his venue. If you are an LA head, check the spot: www.rushstreetculvercity.com. It’s the triple threat, restaurant, lounge/club, and a pseudo strip-club (they have a pole for exhibitionist guests). For all you Aegis Apparel lovers, meet the business. Let’s go from left to right, Eric, Myself (Josh), and Steve. Eric is the artist who brings you the finest. Next is me, I don’t really do much, but the partners don’t know it yet. Last is Steve, if we got technology problems he’ll wave the magic wand.

That is a quick summary of things. Check the pictures, once again thanks to all those who came out. We have a promo code “rush” that will discount each shirt by $10.00. Keep buying so we can bring you the freshest stuff constantly. We are your help to rep Los Angeles, let’s make this happen people.
