I heard this band today called The Pragmatic and I dug them a lot and wanted to share it with my readers. They got this electro indy sound and I really dig it. It kind of reminds me of the love child of Passion Pit and Postal Service. In general I tend to like music that makes me smile and their grooves put an ear to ear grin on my face. Check them out.

The Road by Cormac McCarthy is the most recent book I read and was the last book I could recall that I didn’t want to put down. For anyone, like myself, who read/watched No Country for Old Men and loved that ish this book/movie is your cup o’ Tea. This book also gave me a sort of Children of Men feeling, another movie I thought was the ish! I figure all of McCarthy’s stuff has got that gritty dark feel and I dig it…can you dig it? A friend told me this movie was being made and I looked it up and found out that Charlize Theron and Viggo Mortensen will be starring in it, both of whom I enjoy. I am pretty damn excited about the big screen adaptation of this novel, in fact I was so excited I decided to write about it. I can’t wait, the movie is slated to drop on the big screen in October of this month.
